So far, 2020 has been a frustrating year for me. How about your year so far?
Right now, I am in England. I’m teaching a few classes every week while helping my parents to move home. How are you spending your time right now?
Soon I will move abroad to start a new teaching job – I hope! But I don’t know if I will move this month or next month, or later in the summer! Everything is late because of the virus. And do you have any plans for July and August?
By the end of the year, I hope I will have found a good home in Germany. I hope I will have travelled to some more countries too. What will you have done by the end of 2020?
At the start of the year, I thought I would be doing a lot of travelling and a lot of teaching this year. I expected that I would be really busy and I thought I’d meet a lot of new students and other teachers. But I have been a lot less busy because of the virus, and I have only met people online! What did you expect for this year? Did things happen as you expected? Or have there been a lot of surprises in your life?
