Although Alain de Botton’s theories in the video are concerned with personal decisions, I’d like to relate his approach to working with a team.
- a. Which personality types help to make a strong team?
- b. Are there any personality types that hinder decision-making on a team?
- c. Looking back at de Botton’s categories, can we correlate these with personality types? (For example, could ‘gut reaction’ correspond with an intuitive, emotional person? What about the others?).
- d. To what extent is ‘groupthink‘ detrimental to team working?
